I remember it like it was yesterday...

Low-light.

Chemical smells.

Clotheslines with clippy things hanging down.

Sitting on the counter that held various shallow tubs with liquid and tongs.

I was about to see something magical.

The paper slid in and after some swishes, it happened.

My face slowly appeared on the paper in the tub!

I couldn't explain what had just happened but I knew I had to be a part of it

"It" was better than Colorforms, Play-Doh, Etch-A-Sketch, Crayola, and even Barbie.

And so the journey began...

For over 40 years,

I have used art in various forms to convey a message, a feeling, or a thought,

but for me photography allows an expression that no other medium can.

​

I dabble in this art form as much as I can and it fulfills me in a way that is impossible to explain so I allow my images to do the talking for me...
